Balustrades
Assembling balustrades requires some skill and experience. Customers are advised to use a builder who has erected balustrade before. Suitable footings should be prepared in advance.

Urns and Vases
Urns and vases should be mortared together using a weak cement mix (1:4 cement to sand). If there is a risk that children or members of the public may climb on the urns, vertical steel reinforcing bars should be used to reinforce the connection between the vase and the base. Customers are advised to seek the opinion of a structural engineer.
