Historic Buildings and Gardens

Stone has played a significant part in our homes for hundreds of years and as such it is not unusual to find stone pieces on which time has taken its toll.  At Cranborne Stone we have considerable experience in working with owners to restore their home and gardens to their former glory.

Cranborne Stone project managers work with you to understand the aims of the project and endeavour, where required, to save as much of the original stonework as possible. Using a mixture of artisan skills, both old and new, our team of craftsmen take great pride in creating models and moulds of the original designs to exacting standards from which we then cast the replica features.

Our experience spans a wide variety of projects including - the recreation of original stone detailing to historic houses, the restoration of balustrade and screening and the replacement of historically valued garden ornamental features. To discuss your project and to explore how we might be able to help please call one of our team.
